Wee Music Studio classes are offered in Miami County, Ohio. Two types of group music classes are offered based on the age of the child. Our Side by Side Group Music Class is offered for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Our Music Makers Group Music Class is for Kindergarteners through fifth graders. Classes are  held on a weekly basis.

Side by Side Music Class (infants – PreK)

Side by side group music classes are offered for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers alongside a family member or caregiver. The songs and materials used are based on folk songs, traditional songs, and rhymes. The structure of these melodies allow for musical expression to happen in a way that feels natural to the child. These classes are an active music making experience for the adult and the child. The curriculum is based on Dr. John Feierabend’s research on children’s movement and musical development. Classes are held on a weekly basis. Come join us to make music together, and learn some songs with developmentally appropriate activities for you and your child to enjoy!

Music Makers Music Class (Kindergarten – 5th Grade)

Students will be experiencing an active music making approach through the use of speech, singing, playing, and moving. The curriculum allows students to be musicians during the music process and learn about the musical concepts as a byproduct of their learning experience. The music making will be a community experience and the concepts will be built upon through this course. A designated time will be used in class for students to work in small groups on music concepts for their developmental level. Classes are held on a weekly basis.
